Robert Meditz - Pilot

Back in 2010 for my 14th birthday I had the opportunity to go for my first flight lesson. From that moment on aviation became a huge part of my life and in August of 2012, I made my first solo flight. In October of 2014, I obtained my private pilot certificate. Realizing even more how important aviation was to me and that I wanted to make a career out of flying, I decided to attend Lehigh Carbon Community College to pursue an associate's degree in professional pilot to help me get through my flight ratings even faster. In May of 2016, I earned my instrument rating and shortly afterwards in November of 2016, I earned my multi-engine commercial pilot rating. In February of 2017 I earned my single engine commercial rating. In February of 2019, I reached a huge milestone in my aviation career when I received my Certified Flight Instructor Certificate which enabled me to graduate with my associate's degree in Professional Pilot.

Currently I'm a part time student at Penn State Abington where I'm pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business. My ultimate goal is to become a pilot for Southwest Airlines where one of my friends currently works.
